About
The new edition of the Italian Yearbook of International Law arises from the joint effort of Professors Benedetto Conforti, Luigi Ferrari Bravo, Francesco Francioni, Natalino Ronzitti and Giorgio Sacerdoti, and also from numerous groups of junior and senior Italian academics in the field of international law, working within the universities of Siena, Napoli, LUISS “Guido Carli”, Milano “Bocconi”, Teramo and Trento.
The general editorship of the Yearbook is based within the University of Siena at the “Law for the Peace Center” (Centro interdipartimentale “Diritto per la Pace”). Prof. Francesco Francioni and Prof. Riccardo Pavoni have responsibility for the publication as General Editor and Associate Editor respectively.
The Italian Yearbook of International Law is published annually and includes materials concerning the most significant developments in Italian legal practice relating to international law that have taken place in the previous year. It also includes selected articles and comments, short reviews of Italian and non-Italian books in the field of international law, as well as an Italian bibliographical index of international law which systematically classifies the relevant works published by Italian scholars in the previous year.
As from Volume XII (2002), the Italian Yearbook of International Law is published by Brill Academic Publishers under the imprint of Martinus Nijhoff Publishers
